Dr. Ghaly has been a board certified psychiatrist since 1980, with a focus in pain management since 1982. He has also been a licensed acupuncturist since 1984 and has a fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. He has been treating sleep related disorders since 2002 and opened the Ghaly Sleep Center in 2008. Through his studies and experience, he has gained an extensive knowledge of psychopharmacology and drug-to-drug interaction. Dr. Ghaly not only has the wide-ranging experience to provide his patients with state of the art care, but has also been noted for his compassion and all-encompassing care for each individual.
Julie graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a B.A. in psychology in 1993. She went on to receive her Masters in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University in 1997, and her A.A.S. from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in 2004. In May 2013, Julie graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University with a Masters in nursing as a Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Julie worked as an RN at CPEP at St. Joseph’s Hospital from 2004-2008, and in 2008 began working at the Ghaly Healing & Wellness Center.
Stephanie graduated from St. Joesph's College of Nursing in 2007. She then went on to work as a RN on the in-patient psychiatric unit at St. Joseph's Hospital where she currently works part-time. Stephanie graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in May 2013 with a Masters degree in Nursing and is currently a Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Ghaly Healing & Wellness Center.
Molly graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University with a Masters in the Science of Nursing in 2015, and is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She became a Registered Nurse in 2005 and completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Binghamton University in 2010. She was an ER nurse for many years prior to, and while completing her graduate studies. After receiving her Master’s degree, Molly worked as the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison for Upstate Medical Center before coming to work at Ghaly Healing and Wellness Center.
Lola Alao lived in Nigeria and became a Registered Nurse in 1984. She practiced as a midwife, pediatric nurse, and a family planning practitioner before moving to the United Kingdom in 1993 where she obtained her UKCC certification. She graduated BSN Nursing at the New Mexico State University as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She joined the Ghaly Healing & Wellness Center as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in 2010.
Ida is one of Central New York's top hypnotists. She graduated from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute and is a certified hypnotist with additional training in motivational skills. She has been trained to use hypnosis to aid in the treatment of ADD, childbirth, pain management, sports performance, weight loss, smoking cessation, past life regression, and more. She has been working at the Ghaly Healing & Wellness Center since 2008 and also has over 40 years of nursing experience.
