Our office offers medication management services for a wide array of psychiatric conditions for adults over the age of 18. We also offer electroconvulsive therapy, herbal therapy, Suboxone treatment, ADHD testing, and nerve conduction studies.
Acupuncture- We offer acupuncture services to aid in healing various ailments such as chronic pain, smoking cessation, migraines, depression, and allergies, just to name a few. Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. It aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points of the body using small needles and magnets. We unfortunately do not accept insurance for this service.
Hypnosis- Hypnotists use exercises that bring about deep relaxation and an altered state of consciousness. A person in a deeply focused state is unusually responsive to an idea or image, but this does not mean that a hypnotist can control the person's mind and free will. On the contrary, hypnosis can actually teach people how to master their own states of awareness. By doing so, they can affect their own bodily functions and psychological responses. Hypnosis can be used to help treat a wide variety of conditions. We unfortunately do not accept insurance for this service.
Sleep studies are tests that watch what happens to the body during sleep. The studies are done to find out what is causing sleep problems. Some of the most common sleep problems include sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, and periodic limb movement disorder.
Our sleep studies are conducted on site at the Ghaly Sleep Center. A private bedroom will be provided during the study. As the patient sleeps, a technician will be monitoring the body’s activities such as eye movement, breathing, and leg movement through a number of sensors connected to a computer. It will take approximately 2 weeks to get results from the study. Please see "The Sleep Center" tab of our website for more information.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. TMS is typically used when other depression treatments haven't been effective.
